Mangalam means auspiciousness or good fortune. The practices of yoga, ritual, worship, devotion, meditation, seva and charity, combine to help to purify the five elements and the five gross and subtle senses of the material existence (inside and outside the body). The fruit of the practice comes in the form of the blessings of auspiciousness from Mother nature, as well as from the grace of the Guru principle... that creates the "joy of practice" on the path of spirituality. Our service (seva) and devotion (bhakti) is a source of spiritual power (shakti) and this power allows us to see beyond the conditionings of the mind....and to be free.
